11 Jul 2003 :: Thus, there is a message to all of you who sees a conspiracy theory where I don't translate some texts from one language into another. Instead of hating me, piercing a wodoo puppet symbolizing me and throwing my portraits into lavatory pan, just take such a text and translate it yourself... [ more.. ]

[ 12th Mar 2002 ] the daemons article | 1 comments | leave a comment

Finally, the show went on! Last week the "argc & argv" magazine from Kiev published my article named "A little bit of black magic in UNIX" about daemons in UNIX-like systems. The magazine itself is specialized for programmers, new issues are published every two months. It's distributed mainly with subscription in Ukraine and Russia, where it's one of two existing editorials of such a kind. The only alternative is the "Programmer" magazine which personally I have never seen to be sold anywhere. The article can now be found at the magazine's home site - link is in the publications section. By the way, at their site it's possible to order a particular issues, including the latest one with the "hard copy" of my article. Subscribe information can be found here. Please note, since the magazine is in Russian, the site is available only in Russian too.
