20 Aug 2002 :: Several days ago, before going to bed I was reading a book by Lev Novozhenov "Anthology of satire and humour in Russia of the XX century" which I bought in Kharkov before leaving... [ more.. ]

19 Mar 2002 :: What does a cooler have to do with it? - you'll ask. Probably hot Romanian spring sun doesn't make anything good to me? Like climate change or something.. So I need any kind of cooling in quite a bizarre way, with a help of a CPU cooler fan? Nope, my friends, that's all about something else... [ more.. ]

03 Jan 2003 :: The reason for such a slow evolution of the client part consists in the fact that the Jabber team guys from the very beginning and till now have been concentrating on the technical issues, not on the end-user who, excuse my French, doesn't give a shit about the beauty of using XML in the protoco.. Ok.. What can I tell you, my dear site visitors? :) The life is going on. Yesterday I was at an outdoors party, today in the morning at a hospital. Hey, everything is much better than you though after reading the previous sentence. These events are not connected to each other :) But ok, let me tell you more. The outing was arranged by me along with two other guys that also joined our company here during September. One was from Ukraine, another from the Republic of Moldavia, lead by communists nowdays. All of our colleagues and some friends were invited. We went to Bucium, several kilometers away from Iasi. It was a very picturesque place, with forest and caves. We even managed to climb and go through some of them. Took some pictures having finished the film in my camera at last. I think during several days I'll manage to print photos and scan them to put online. Though, once again I was a little bit disappointed with the mentality local guys had. In 4 or 5 hours after start almost all of them decided they had to go home. Though, neither beer was over nor it was getting dark. Now, the second piece of news, the medical stuff. The operation of slitting my leg :) was planned. I'd been going to have a nail grown inside a finger on my foot removed for quite a long. I had no time to make it in Kharkov before leaving, thus I had an unsolved problem with my health. However, everything arranged quite successfully. Quite fast I got many friends here. And there were surgeons among them. Really, the appartment I rent here belongs to a guy who makes his doctorate in Spain. He left already, but advised me to visit a doctor, to which I was shown today by his friend. That's it :)
