30 Jan 2001 :: I couldn't help programming today even despite of my illness. So, I've wrote pechkin - a template-driven news system in C++ that allows users to add comments. Administrator can add news items, etc. And it doesn't require any RDBMS! It's all organized into directories and files... [ more.. ]

26 May 2006 :: Then it was time to eat something. Before going on the trip, we read that the Amish had restaurants with their traditional ecologically clean food. So we had to try it. And one more things about holidays, celebrations and having a good time. On the 1st December there was Ziua nationala a Romaniei. It's translated as "the national day of Romania". Maybe, I was looking not very attentively, but during a morning trip through the center of the city I couldn't notice any major celebrations. The only amusement was a loudspeaker standing on one of the main squares of Iasi. There were some melodies coming out from it. And TV was showing a parade in Bucharest that day.
